An hour of your day to make a lifetime of difference! Not just in someone else's life, but yours!

Summer Scenes is starting up again soon at Kingswood Church, and we want you to be a part of it.  We are inviting the leadership at Kingswood to join our Summer Scenes Coordinator, Kim Petersen on April 27 at 12:30 pm on a Zoom call to get the low down on this grassroots fun Summer Program!  We hope you can join us.  If you are, email our Summer Scenes account (KUMCSummerScene@gmail.com) and let us know if you are interested or have any questions.

Summer Scenes is a creative way for you to lead a one-time event, group, activity, etc. to build sacred community and to grow in our love with God and neighbor. We hope these events could happen throughout the summer, starting in June and ending Labor Day weekend.

Examples include, but are not limited to:  A cooking event at your home, a prayer walk in a Forest Preserve,  a group run, a book study at a restaurant, an art project at church or another location, a miniature golf event hosted by you (not funded... LOL), and so much more. (These are just examples). We will explain more at the ZOOM call.  It can happen at either the Deerfield campus or the Buffalo Grove campus or at your home or offsite…so many options…so many SCENES!
