Welcome to Kingswood Church and our new sermon series, MEASURE UP: Becoming a Disciple of Jesus! Did you ever want to ride a rollercoaster, but you had to stand next to a sign to measure whether you were tall enough? At a carnival, did you try to ring the bell with the sledgehammer at the High Striker? These efforts required a level of measuring-up or having the strength for action. Our series invites us to take a moment to measure our commitment to Jesus. Readings from Isaiah and Romans will help us measure our understanding and acceptance of grace. We also celebrate Pride Sunday and our witness at the Pride Parade and Picnic in Buffalo Grove. Welcome to Kingswood!
