Sunday School
We have a great time each week in our Sunday School programs at both campuses.
During the school year, we use Grow Curriculum which offers a variety of ways for kids to learn and engage, including short video clips, games, Bible stories, and hands-on activities.
We meet kids where they're at...knowledge, experience, and energy-wise!

On occasion, we will not have Sunday School, in order to give families a chance to worship together. Please check out the schedule on the drop-down lists below.
It's SO IMPORTANT for kids to learn how to be in the service. Books and coloring activities are always available for kids to use during worship.

- At 9am, the Nursery team is ready to take care of babies and learn alongside preschoolers up through 5 years old.
- Our Kindergarten through 5th grade students will begin in the Sanctuary with their family every Sunday at 9am, then head to Sunday School with teachers around 9:15am.

FEBRUARY SUNDAY SCHOOL
When we visit an aquarium, we find a whole world filled with sea creatures, plants, and more. Some of the discoveries we've made about what lives underwater can seem almost like a miracle. But it's not just under the sea where miracles happen—Jesus used water in some of his most well-known miracles! In this series, kids will learn about some of the incredible miracles Jesus performed to help people grow closer to God. As they do, they'll learn how Jesus does everything out of love, calls us to follow him, knows what we need, and, most of all, that Jesus can do anything!

SUNDAY NIGHT LIVE (SNL)
We love our SNL time together with 3rd through 5th graders. We gather for dinner, fellowship, and fun once or twice a month on Sunday evenings from 5pm-7pm. $3 per evening.* This school year, 3rd-5th graders will be basing our time together on a devotional book called Let's Party! Here to Shine: Born for a Reason.

ASH WEDNESDAY
Join us for an interactive Ash Wednesday service on March 5 at the Buffalo Grove campus from 6pm-6:30pm, where kids can be kids and learn about the beginning of Lent in an accessible way, with their family.
We'll start with some conversation about Ash Wednesday and receiving ashes, then we'll have hands-on stations to learn more about this special day.

Children's Chimes and Xylophones (preK-5th grade) and Youth Praise Band (4th-12th grade) are back at it for the 2024-2025 school year.
Children's Chimes and Xylophones (preK-5th grade) and Youth Praise Band (4th-12th grade) are back at it for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Children's Chimes and Xylophones began in October for this school year. Their practice times will be on select Sundays from 3pm-4pm.
- The Youth Praise Band practices a couple times a month on Sundays from 4pm-5pm.

Our Kingswood Kids collected books during our Summer 2024 Book Club and donated them to Dr. Rebecca at Reynolds' Provisions for a school in Kenya.

Did you know that Gratitude Generation is a local nonprofit organization that is making generational waves?! And...they are housed in our Deerfield site campus at 815 Rosemary Terrace in Deerfield, IL.
They do a tremendous amount of compassionate work in our community, for others, teaching the next generation of children and families how to serve. We've been thrilled to partner with them at events we've held, and we support their mission to support neighbors in need while building a new generation of service-minded leaders.
